One person I would choose to be friends with would be Muhammad Ali. I would choose him because, he was an extremely popular and inspirational figure for a long period of time. He was also an activist. Activists are usually really amazing people who stand up for a good cause. I think I would also feel very comfortable around a person like Muhammad Ali. He is very compassionate. Muhammad Ali was very famous for being a professional boxer and an activist.
Another person I would choose would be Ellen DeGeneres. I think she would be a good choice because, I think there should be some humor in life. She is a comedian who always makes people laugh. She brings out many other people with talents or are also famous on her show so you can see some action while still having comedy. Unlike Muhammad Ali, Ellen's life is more on the side of laughing and that is what I like about her personality.

1. There were huge differences between Night and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas because, they were both from two completely different perspectives. One was a Jewish boy name Elie Wiesel and the other was a son of a Nazi Soldier, named Bruno. Elie Wiesel was sent to a concentration camp and Bruno lived in a luxury home. Elie Wiesel lived a brutal life with his father while Bruno could just run around, play, and explore. Overall, Bruno's life was much more easier than Elie Wiesel's life.
2. During the Holocaust, Elie Wiesel spent a big part of his life in a concentration camp. Through out this course of his life he was very frail. He was in terrible health conditions. There was little rations of food and a lot of work. During his time their he started to lose his faith in god. Elie Wiesel was angry, sad, frustrated, confused, and scared. 3. I have learned so much from this unit. I have done tons of research on many things about the holocaust. Learning about the Holocaust has really strengthened my understandings on many other people's experiences. I learned about things that happened in the camps, and how the Jews were treated. 4. I liked the book better because, I could have my own visualizations about what was happening. When you are watching a movie you can't do that, the scene is just there. Also, the book gives much more information, the movie was more of just entertainment. One signpost was on page 77 was an again and again because it talks about God, and how Elie keeps asking for God's mercy but it is never there. Religion was very important in Elie's younger life, that's why I think he keeps bringing it up.
On page 106, I think there is a contrast and contradiction because, Elie fought for so long to keep his father alive, and at one point he just thinks to himself that his father is a burden and why does Elie have to have this responsibility. Elie felt very bad after he thought about this. On page 111, it is tough questions because, Elie's father won't take the soup, all he wants is water, even thought he is starving, I still don't know why Elie's father didn't take the soup. If I was president of The United States, I would make it so some very important things such as college more affordable because, I think less fortunate families and people should have more of a chance at being in this world, I don't want it to be more hard for them in life.
Secondly, I would help do funds for charity and families with a crisis. I would also try and help other countries that have more problems. Also, try and help stop some superpower threats, such as ISIS. Lastly, I would help certain cultures feel more welcomed. Sometimes when you are not what the majority is, you can be judged. I want the people who are different, feel important and not feel like they have to change only because of pressure from other people. Over winter break I got some cool presents. I got a dark red long-sleeve shirt and black sweat pants. Those were some very comfy clothe when your inside for the winter. I also got a puzzle, a board game, and a remote control car. Those were some pretty cool presents, I liked them. I thought the board game was pretty fun to do with your siblings, it was called HedBanz.
The article was about how 18-year-olds should go upon their lives. It was meant to show people the things you should do that will give a fantastic future. Although, I don't think these claims should just apply to 18-year-olds. I think If your and adult, you have to start doing those things! If your more of a teen that is more like late 14s - early 17s you should start getting ready to do these things because It will really help in experience.
I strongly agree with the claims in the article and think that everything in it is totally realistic. One thing I think I should work on is managing money. Even though I'm super young I think I should be ready to know about bills, checks and stuff like. The video game I would choose to live in The Sims 4. I would choose to live in there because, it is where you can have a normal life. I don't want to live in some crazy fantasy world, it would be very vexing. In the Sims you can have a awesome life, you can get amazing jobs, with lots of exploration. There are also normal life stuff such as camping and cooking. You can get huge mansion too.
There are also many exciting things to do such as making really cool science inventions, using big rockets to fly up for exploration, or just living a normal life. You could also change how you look and the clothing you wear. It's actually like a excelled version of real life. I could live a normal life and have really cool adventures and experiences. I am very thankful for family that cares about me because, without them I would not feel as happy as I am now. I am very lucky for what I have because, I have heard of other kids misfortunes. So because of that I am very grateful. My family is always there to give me love and appreciation.
Family is like a puzzle that needs to stay together. If one falls out the others feel distraught. That is why I am very appreciative for what I have to hold on to. I am also very thankful to have parents that can feed, house, care, and give me education. Without them I wouldn't be here, or even writing this blog right now. I was not very content with the results of the election. Personally, I was really hoping Hillary Clinton would win. Hillary got pretty close, I was very happy when Hillary got Calfiornia, that was a big 55 electoral votes. But I knew it was all over when Trump got Flordia, North Carolina, and Ohio those were really helpful states that trump got.
I really like how Hillary Clinton talks. She gives very vivid statements about what she is going to do. She also shows a lot of care for the children and thinks the US is a country where all different kinds of people should unite. |
